Workers are yearning for meaningful work that contributes to society. Yet public service employers are starved for qualified talent. This mismatch will only become more acute as AI transforms the future of work, eliminating jobs before candidates are retrained in new skills employers require.

Municipalities can be the solution. By re-examining how we recruit and train through a lens of radical inclusivity, we can make municipalities employers of choice and match talents to needs. In this interactive workshop, we’ll work together to develop frameworks and strategies for inclusive recruitment, removing barriers to meaningful work, and achieving true “contributive justice.”
